READ ALL OF THIS BEFORE FILLING OUT THE APPLICATION!!!

Recruitment Process/Procedure

• Step 1: Please review information about the guild, our policies, the recruitment process, and this application thoroughly; i.e., read it all! We will both be investing in each other to meet our mutual goals and do not want to waste our time or yours.

• Step 2: After reviewing your application, one of our officers will contact you in game or via email and schedule an Interview using Ventrilo. We pre-screen applicants through a brief Q&A session. You do not need to be a game expert, and this is very informal. Often times this is used to clarify information on your application.

• Step 3: If your application is approved, you will be invited into the guild as a "recruit." Please make sure you review the rank requirements before deciding what you are applying for! You will remain a recruit for a period of one to two weeks (this is not in stone). During this period you are expected to attend as many events as possible and place the guild at the top of you’re in game priority list. We will be more closely assessing your play style, knowledge, skill, and personality during this period; i.e., we will be assessing all aspects of your game play. We in no way expect you to be perfect or know everything as none of us are/do; however, showing us dedication, desire and determination are extremely important.

• Step 4: If during the recruitment period your interaction with the officers and members makes us feel that you would be a solid WarMongers family member, you will be formally promoted to “Member or Officer” (based on what you applied for). Your promotion will include all of the rights, privileges, and responsibilities that come with guild membership and your promoted ranking; e.g., full website access, able to build and spend DKP on loot, repair money, etc.

• FYI: This process can take some time. Although we try to streamline this process, variable factors have the ability to speed it up or slow it down. If at any time you are unsure of and would like to know your status, please feel free to contact an officer. Additionally, successful communication takes effort on both sides. We are unable to answer questions if you don’t ask. Please feel free to contact us anytime.

IMPORTANT: Before submitting your application, please keep in mind that this is your opportunity to tell us about yourself. Since we are going to take the time to read, review, and consider what you wrote, we ask that you take the time to write your application as clearly, accurately, and detailed as possible. While we do not expect doctoral thesis quality, we do expect to see the use of Basic English skills. Good applications tend to be much more impressive than gear, experience, or your overall damage per second, healing, or other statistics. Remember, in most cases, this application is your first impression and all we have to go on.
